orLater Productions is dedicated to innovative filmmaking. Founded by Todd Davis, orLater has produced many short narrative and documentary films, including the award-winning In The Tradition of My Family (working title Through Line), screenplay by Todd Davis, based on the short story by Phil LaMarche. Todd has extensive directing experience with short film projects. His efforts contributed to numerous festival-selected and award-winning short films. Todd also has a strong interest in editing, having cut over 60 short narrative and documentary films, and was 1st assistant director on the mtvU/MSN/Boston University-produced sitcom pilot "Roller Palace". Todd holds an MFA degree in Film Production from Boston University. In The Tradition of My Family is his graduate thesis film. He received a merit scholarship from B.U. for his outstanding work, and was a teaching assistant for four semesters of the course 'Directing the Theatrical and Television Film.' He was named runner-up for The Most Promising New England Filmmaker award at the 2006 Boston Underground Film Festival. Todd also holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Pennsylvania and a master's degree from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, and has taught graduate-level digital editing at Boston University.
